Group
Health Cooperative
The business challenge for Seattle-based GHC was
to knit together a heterogeneous collection of medical applications developed
by different vendors, running on different hardware platforms and served
by a variety of transport protocols. Read how their solution, based on
Sybase e-Biz Impact 5.3 and Adaptive Server Enterprise, manages message
traffic among 50 different applications.
St.
Luke’s Hospital
To create a single point of real-time access for
all clinical information, Missouri-based St. Luke’s needed to integrate
its in-house and third-party systems. Its physicians needed a system that
offered quick access and eliminated time-consuming delays such as slow
screen refreshes and internal system processing. Their Sybase-powered
solution met those goals and enabled the hospital to create a single database
for online viewing.
